Annual outreach event 2025 – Athens

On 10 and 11 September 2025, the third Annual Meeting of the HERVCOV project will take place at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. An outreach event will be organised to offer interested participants the opportunity to learn more about the project and the scientific advancements achieved by the Consortium.

During the event, visitors will be invited to explore the HERVCOV laboratories through an immersive virtual reality experience, take part in an interactive quiz challenge focused on endogenous retroviruses, and join the “Biology Challenge,” an educational outreach game inspired by DOBBLE and developed by Bioscienza Responsabile, a science communication association composed of researchers from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and member of the Frascati Scienza network.
