Open Day activities are dedicated moments in which HERVCOV researchers meet the public outside the laboratory. Through their participation in initiatives such as the European Researchers’ Night and other science outreach events, partners present the project, explain its objectives in accessible language and engage with citizens, students and teachers. These encounters help raise awareness about medical research, foster dialogue with society and share the progress of HERVCOV with a broad audience.
