CSEVP-2026 Conference & School on Extracellular Vesicles and Nanoparticles

February 16 - February 20

Following the success of the 2024 edition, the Conference and School on Extracellular Vesicles and Nanoparticles will return in February 2026 with CSEVP-2026. The event will maintain the same structure, combining a two-day Conference, scheduled on February 16 and 17 at Villa Tuscolana in Frascati, with a three-day School hosted by the University of Rome Tor Vergata and the National Research Council in Rome.

The Conference will focus on recent advances in extracellular vesicle and nanoparticle research, with particular attention to their role in physiological and pathological processes. It will bring together senior experts, young researchers and representatives from private companies, creating a space for scientific exchange through lectures, oral presentations, posters and networking opportunities.

The School will complement the Conference with theoretical and practical sessions dedicated to the isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles. The programme will address both established and innovative approaches, including flow cytometry, high-resolution microscopy, atomic force microscopy and other advanced techniques for studying vesicle properties.

Within this framework, researchers from the HERVCOV consortium will contribute with the following scientific intervention:

Characterization of extracellular vesicles reveals persistent myeloid activation and SARS-CoV-2 proteins expression associated inflammation in acute and Long COVID
